Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Xiliro (the "Site"), operated by Dev Sooriyar ("Xiliro", "we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What Xiliro is

Xiliro provides a collection of free-to-use online calculators and converters for everyday maths, statistics, unit conversion, dates and times, text, random generation, technology, cooking, and everyday money calculations, plus one general health screening calculator. The Site does not require you to create an account.

Lawful use

You may use the Site for any lawful personal, educational, professional, or other ordinary purpose. You must not use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law, infringes anyone else's rights, or is intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or any system connected to it.

Prohibited misuse

You must not, and must not attempt to:

• interfere with or disrupt the Site or the servers or networks used to provide it;
• send automated, excessive, or abusive traffic intended to degrade the Site for other users;
• reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or copy the Site's underlying software beyond what is needed for your own ordinary personal use of it;
• use the Site to generate content, including via the Password Generator, UUID Generator, or QR Code Generator, for an unlawful purpose;
• misrepresent a result generated by the Site as having been produced, endorsed, or verified by a third party it was not.

Your inputs

Most tools process the values or text you enter entirely within your own browser and never transmit them to Xiliro. The Currency Converter is an exception: converting an amount sends only the two currency codes involved to Frankfurter, an independent exchange-rate data service, never your amount or result. See the Privacy Policy for the complete position. You remain responsible for the values and text you choose to enter.

Generated outputs

A result, password, UUID, or QR code produced by the Site is generated at the moment you request it and is not stored by Xiliro. You are responsible for how you use, store, or share anything the Site generates for you.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, and underlying software are owned by Dev Sooriyar or licensed to Xiliro, except where stated otherwise. You may view and use the Site for your own personal or business purposes, but you may not reproduce, redistribute, or create a derivative service from the Site's software or content without permission.

Accuracy

Xiliro takes care over the accuracy of its calculators, and every calculator's logic is tested (see Editorial & Calculation Standards). Even so, a result is only as good as the inputs and assumptions behind it, and no online calculator can be guaranteed error-free in every circumstance. Health information

The Adult BMI Calculator provides general screening information for adults aged 18 and over only. It is not a diagnosis and is not medical advice. See its own page and the Disclaimer for its full limitations.

Financial and currency information

The Discount, Tip, Compound Interest, VAT, and Currency Converter tools are calculation aids, not financial, investment, or tax advice, and the Currency Converter's rate is a daily reference rate, not a live tradable one. Xiliro does not determine which VAT rate legally applies to a transaction. See the Disclaimer for detail.

Cooking and date/time limitations

Cooking tools convert exact units only and never guess an ingredient's density. Date and time tools use standard calendar arithmetic; where a tool does not account for time zones or daylight saving, this is stated on that tool's own page.

Third-party services

The Currency Converter depends on Frankfurter, an independent third-party data service. Xiliro is not responsible for that service's availability, accuracy, or content, and using the Currency Converter does not create any relationship between you and that service beyond the request the Site makes on your behalf.

Availability

Xiliro is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the Site will be available at all times, free of interruption, or free of error, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

Reliance and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xiliro is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or any result it produces, including where a decision is made on the basis of a calculated figure. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Your mandatory rights

These Terms do not affect any right you have under applicable consumer protection or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited by agreement. Which specific rights and remedies apply to you depends on where you are and the circumstances of your use of the Site; nothing here is intended to reduce those rights.

Abuse protection

We may restrict or block access to the Site for anyone we reasonably believe is misusing it, including through the conduct described above, without prior notice.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change to the Site or to applicable law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last substantively revised. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
