Case Converter
Convert text to UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case or Sentence case.
Worked example
"hello WORLD, this is test-case 123" in Title Case becomes "Hello World, This Is Test-Case 123".
How this works
UPPERCASE and lowercase use your browser's own Unicode-aware case conversion, so accented and non-English letters convert correctly. Title Case and Sentence case are deterministic conventions, not a claim of perfect linguistic style: Title Case capitalises every word-like segment (it does not know which short words a style guide might keep lowercase, such as "of" or "the"); Sentence case treats the start of the text, and anything after a run of full stops, exclamation marks or question marks followed by a space, as the start of a new sentence. A line break alone does not start a new sentence. Punctuation, numbers and line breaks are always preserved.
What this result means
The result is your text rewritten in the case you chose.
Assumptions and limitations
- Title Case capitalises every word-like segment; it does not apply style-guide exceptions for short words such as "of" or "the".
